We appreciate what came before us here at the Mill at Lafayette and feeling a real sense of place is important to us.  We try to promote that within our community here and are proud to host our local historian, Tim Cranston, with annual historical walking tours.  Mark your calendars for our next one, on Saturday, June 1st.  We meet at The Hive for complimentary coffee and pastries at 9:30 then we’re off… This next walk is sponsored by our friends, the Concerned Citizens of Davisville and the Davisville Free Library.  For more information, check out Tim’s Swamptown Enterprises page here!

It may be hard to see but…even with tonight’s ominous skies, the contractors are ‘all in’ installing the latest round of solar panels at the mill.  We have solar installed on #610 (the Shewatuck Building) and on the Carriage House.  The Rodman Building (the biggest) is next up!
