Summer ‘coworking’ special extended through September…
Have you been thinking that you really need to get out of your home office?  Have you been wishing you could work with other interesting people?  We have a Summer Coworking special that you really should take advantage of!  $75 per month (we can pro-rate July) for unlimited coworking Monday-Friday 9-5 and that comes with 5 hours per month use of the private conference room at no extra charge!  Email Tuni if you’re interested: tunischartner@gmail.com.

Mark your calendars for Friday, July 26th from 8:00-9:30am with Uncle Jay’s Traveling Breakfast Network at The Hive RI – with delicious coffee and Allie’s Donuts!  Bring your business cards and a positive attitude and build your network… If you’re in the Newport area tomorrow, join us from 8:00-9:30 for Breakfast on Broadway at Innovate Newport! 

Art Show
The next Art Show is going to be epic!  We are so excited to be partnering with our ‘sister mill’ The Mill at Shady Lea, an artist colony on this very important show we’re calling ‘Inclusivity’.  We will be mixing up local artists Joann Seddon, Josh Edenbaum, Philippe Lejeune, Kim Ellery and more!  The show will be available for ‘self guided’ tours beginning Monday, August 5th (during regular coworking hours) and the opening will be Friday, August 9th 6:00-9:00.  Hope to see you there.  #BuyLocalArt #SupportArtists

Lost Banded Pigeon?
We have a new friend here at the mill & though we don’t mind at all and welcome any that are drawn to our very cool community…we are a little worried about this friendly bird.  If anyone has recommendations on who we should call, what we should feed it (or not feed it), etc…please reply to this email and let us know!  Homer (Tuni’s dog) was totally hanging out with him/her yesterday and it can fly — so we’re just a little confused?

Need Space?
We are currently building out 3 spaces that should be ready by July 1st and aren’t rented out yet!  They are ground level, around back & next door to The Hive.  There are two private offices that will be $325 per month and one larger space that is $500 per month (*we are also thinking about making this space two small offices at $300 each?) All require a minimum one year lease.  Reach out if you’re interested!

What’s Going On…
There’s A LOT going on this week.  Check out our Facebook Events here.

The South County Business Expo is this Wednesday from 11:00-4:00 at The Holiday Inn by ‘the Tower’ (South Kingstown on Rte. 1).  Admission: FREE with a business card.  The South County Business Expo was created to continue to support the local businesses in different areas of Rhode Island after the success of the Ocean State Business Expo. Businesses from the area have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to local business professionals. Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and RI Small Business Journal are sponsors of this event, more info here.

Our Mill community member, Crescent Moon Photography, is booking Holiday Mini Sessions, more info here.

Our Hive member, Gigi Gravel, a.k.a. ‘The Lifestyle Architect’ is having a Dreamscape Vision Board Workshop at The Hive this Saturday & Sunday.  Space is limited and these workshops are AWESOME, learn more and sign up here.

Art Show Opening Reception this Friday!
Our featured artists, Lori Delfosse & Lisa Waldheger have a beautiful Art Show hanging now in The Hive RI.  They will be hosting their Opening Reception this Friday 5:30-7:30.  They will have a musician, a storyteller, a raffle & more.  Mark your calendars and tell your friends!

Open to intuitive expression, these two artists bring their inspirations to canvas. Their abstract work demonstrates a courage to expose vulnerability; reflecting their true essence.  To learn more about these talented artists click here.
