The Weekly BUZZ: Busy Bees at The Hive

We had a busy weekend at The Hive starting with Uncle Jay’s Traveling Breakfast Network Friday morning…thank you to all who attended.  That event is always so well attended and FUN that we’re going to get more ‘regular’ with our scheduling! Saturday was straight out with our resident Expressive Arts educator, Susan Fox, running a workshop.  Then Sunday our own Hiver, the amazing Lifestyle Architect Gigi Gravel held an empowering event!

The Weekly BUZZ: So Many Events!

There’s a lot happening in RI business community during the Summer…and the event locations are unbelievable!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours hosted by our friends at the Rocky Hill School.  Dr. Jim Tracy (above left), the head of school at RHS, introduced Liam Pisano (above right), Executive Director of LearnLaunch – a world class EdTech incubator/coworking space based in Boston.  Stay tuned as the Rocky Hill School is partnering with LearnLaunch and will host a satellite on the RHS grounds next year.  Very exciting!

From the grounds of the RHS to the International Tennis Hall of Fame with the Newport County Chamber of Commerce…we’ve been very busy this summer season – having fun & working hard with our colleagues all over this beautiful state!

The Weekly BUZZ: Summer is BUZZing at The Mill

Rainy day ride at the Mill!
You never know what you might see at the mill!  Today the big boys (Edward & Lenny) from New Deal Horse & Carriage stopped by to scoop up the Queen Bee and head out for a rainy ride through the trails of Ryan Park (did you know that we are adjacent to a beautiful town park?).  If you missed them they’ll be in Wickford Village this Saturday morning giving ‘a Pirate’s Tour of Wickford’ wagon ride with local historian Tim Cranston.  For more information or to buy tickets click here.
