There’s a lot happening in RI business community during the Summer…and the event locations are unbelievable!
We recently enjoyed a fantastic East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours hosted by our friends at the Rocky Hill School. Dr. Jim Tracy (above left), the head of school at RHS, introduced Liam Pisano (above right), Executive Director of LearnLaunch – a world class EdTech incubator/coworking space based in Boston. Stay tuned as the Rocky Hill School is partnering with LearnLaunch and will host a satellite on the RHS grounds next year. Very exciting!
From the grounds of the RHS to the International Tennis Hall of Fame with the Newport County Chamber of Commerce…we’ve been very busy this summer season – having fun & working hard with our colleagues all over this beautiful state!

The current art show “Expressions in Color” showcasing works by Sheila Newquist and Rae Ferguson is up until August 26th when they’ll have their closing reception (details here). Also, remember that our resident Fine Arts & Travel Photographer, Cindy Wilson, has a permanent rotating show here as well and you’re always welcome to come for a self guided tour of our gallery Mon-Fri 9-5. #BuyArt #SupportLocal
Looking for office space?
Here at The Hive RI we have the open coworking option available at $100 per month. Great option whether you just want it a couple/few days a week or month or 5 days a week! *We have one of the Hive offices opening up August 15th – $300 per month, reach out to tuni@trsstrategies.com for more information!
The complex here (a.k.a., Mill at Lafayette) has a few options open. We only have 2 spaces that are +/- 1k sq. ft. left on the top floor of the main bldg. (Rodman Bldg.) – these can be built to suit. We also have a great 4k sq. ft. space down on the ground level (around back) of the main (Rodman) bldg., right next to The Hive – this space can either be broken up or leased as one unit.
